Time to take stock for 2013

First of all I'd like to thank you for your participation, encouragement and energy that I got from all of you over the last year and I hope you feel it  is a reciprocal process. All my classes being community-based classes for all levels of ability rely on your commitment and input, so please keep it going. I do welcome all your comments regarding organisation, level, time and location, etc. There will be some changes in the weekly schedule as of January so please have a look at Classes section to check the time and location before you make it to the class in the New Year.
I have got a few spare mats, blocks and belts (brand new) so if you are stuck on gift ideas, I'd be happy to give you more details.
There are just two more classes before we break up for Christmas so do join us before the break either on Monday (16th) or Wednesday (19th) evening. The classes will resume on Saturday 4th January 2014.
Have a wonderful time, whatever you are doing, be mindful about food and drink and other indulgences and fit some yogic practise in your break!

Teacher training completed

I wanted to share good news with you: I have now completed my 2-year British Wheel of Yoga teacher training (500hrs). This is a top qualification available in the UK and I'm proud to have done it. The BWY's priorities are safety of the yoga practice and inclusion, which are very important to me personally. I hope all the practitioners coming to my classes will support me in developing my teaching skills further.

New venue

The Wednesday class is moving to a new venue so that you've got a bit more space for your limbs! We are now hosted by a drop-in centre next to the Jubilee Hall on Tulse Hill estate (SW2 2NA). The Friday class is staying at High Trees as it is cosy and good for a smaller group. So, I hope I've inspired you to keep coming, practising and focusing on what you really want!

May all peaceful warriors find strength and propose!

Shedding the armour of pride and artifice
Developing the armour impermeable to the confusion of the world

Update

This week the Friday (3rd May) class is at High Trees (the Old library) - the same place as our Wednesday class. Next week the Wednesday class is also at High Trees. Please let me know if you are coming as I need a minimum number of people for this class as I'm being assessed then. I'll update you on a more permanent schedule as soon as I know.

We need to move!

After 8 months at the Rotunda we need to move the Friday evening class as the venue is no longer affordable. The last class there is 26th April. I'm looking for another place to host us so watch this space. From the yogic viewpoint, it's good to get a change of perspective and to challenge our settled ways. So, moving is good and let's hope it will be a positive change.

As I can't be with you this week I've asked Alex and Michel to cover my classes on 30th Jan and 1st Feb. I hope you enjoy a slightly different approach to yoga practice.
