Thank you all Yogic Warriors
It's been an eventful year: some classes moved venues, new classes opened, summer classes in Brockwell Park. Thank you very much for bearing with me and joining me for a regular yoga practice. I hope you have been able to try something new in your practice over the last year, to keep it fresh and to keep your mind open. If you are looking for some inspiration, here are some ideas - make them your own if they resonate with you!

Ch ch ch changes
I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the summer. Well done if you've come to my yoga classes in Brockwell Park. With the arrival of autumn I'd like to invite you back to a regular and conscientious practice. There are a few changes in the schedule: the High Trees class is moving to Quakers' Meeting Hall just off Brixton Hill/Upper Tulse Hill/Christchurch Road - keep you r Wednesday evenings for it. The Tuesday class at Clapham Youth Centre is staying at the same venue but will now take place on Thursdays.( click on Classes to check further details).
We have been practising mindfulness of breathing meditation every now and again and if you want to fight those autumn blues try doing it daily for 10-15 minutes. It keeps your spirits high and helps to stay focused. It's not easy but try to stick with it and you see the benefits soon!

Yoga in Brockwell Park
Let's all hope the weather is kind to us again this year as Wednesday evening class is now taking place at Brockwell Park. We meet between tennis courts and the ponds. Bring your own mat (I'll have a few spare ones with me too) and a blanket to yourself warm for relaxation. If it rains, you can contact me to double-check if it's going ahead. This class is based on donation. Come along!

International Yoga Day June 21st
I hope you will be celebrating the International Yoga Day with thousands of yogis around the world. There are some events in London so perhaps you can join some of them. You can find more details here http://www.nehrucentre.org.uk/events/details/article/international-yoga-day-celebrations-at-south-bank-centre.html. There will be a special treat at my Sunday classes as well on that day.

Fancy a relaxing Sunday? Why not have your yoga class then!
I'll be teaching two extra classes at Brockwell Lido on Sundays for some time and I hope you'll want to join in for a good old stretch. 10-11:30 hatha yoga, 11:30-12:45 yoga for healthy back (a more gentle and slower approach).

BRAND NEW MONDAY CLASS near Tuse Hill Station
I've been searching high and low for a place for a second class in Tulse Hill and I'm happy to report that I've just found a nice, new community place in Norwood Road (next to the Suzuki car dealers), one minute away from Tulse Hill Station. full address http://tulse-hill-yoga.blogspot.co.uk/p/classes.html . Unfortunately they are not able to store my equipment there so you need to bring your own mat, or let me know in advance so that I can bring a mat for you if you still don't have one. See you there!
